There's a current of prejudice, isn't there? A systemic whisper that echoes in nearly every corner of this planet. We can't truly escape it, unfortunately, but perhaps the imperative isn't solely to point fingers outward, but also to turn our gaze inward, to understand the roots.

Wherever I go, whatever I wear, however I speak, I notice the subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) ways people judge. It often feels born not of first impressions, but of deeper, instinctual fears carried within them. Fear of the misunderstood silence between strangers. Fear that old wounds might reopen at an unexpected touch.

Fear of the unknown face, the unfamiliar story.
